Tea Board invites applications from Indian Nationals for the post of Deputy Director of Tea Promotion, for its Head Office in Kolkata

Deputy Director of Tea Promotion; 01 Post [UR] Pay Band 3+Grade Pay Rs.6,600/- Gross Salary Rs.45,000/-(approxm.)

Essential Qualification: Honours Graduate from a recognized University with a Post- Graduate degree or Diploma in Marketing/ Advertisement/ Mass Communication.

Experience: At least 10(ten) years working experience in a Market Research Organisation or in Marketing Division of a reputed company dealing in agro-products or experience in sales promotion/campaign of agricultural or similar products in an advertising agency. Period of experience may be relaxed by Competent Authority for exceptionally competent Candidate.
Age Limit: 40 years
Age Relaxation: As per Government of India’s order.

Fee payable : Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only)
(SC, ST, Persons with disability and Ex-Servicemen applicants are exempted from paying application fees, subject to submission of proper certificate in support of their caste/category)
Mode of payment of fee: By IPO or Bank Draft payable to Tea Board at Kolkata.

(i) Candidates are requested to apply in the format published along with this Advertisement
(ii) All the appointments will be made on temporary basis. Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of one/two years.
(iii) Persons working in Government or Public Sector Undertakings must apply through
proper channel.
(iv) One recent passport size photograph (NOT stapled) on the top right hand corner of the application and thereafter sign on it and send another copy of the same photo separately.
(v) Please inscribe in block capitals the nomenclature of the post applied for on the
envelope containing the application.
(vi) If the information furnished by applicant is found to be incomplete/ incorrect at any stage, his/her candidature will not be accepted
(vii) The Competent Authority reserves the right to cancel any or all written tests/personality test / application(s) at its discretion and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained from applicants.
