1. COMPANY PROFILE:

REIL was incorporated under the Indian Companies Act, 1956 as a joint venture of Instrumentation Ltd. and Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation Ltd. with the objective of retaining its primacy in the area of rural electronic, non-conventional energy systems & information technology by developing, manufacturing and marketing quality products and by offering quality services. REIL is a Schedule ‘C’ Mini Ratna CPSE in the Medium and Light Engineering Sector under the administrative control of Department of Heavy Industry, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises.

Its Registered and Corporate offices are at Jaipur, Rajasthan.

The authorized and paid up capital of the Company is Rs. 5.50 crore and Rs. 4.25 crore respectively as on March 31, 2009.

It is a subsidiary of Instrumentation Ltd. which is holding 51% equity.

2. JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing Director is the Chief Executive of the Corporation and accountable to its Board of Directors and Government of India. He is responsible for the efficient functioning of the Corporation for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters.

3. ELIGIBILITY

I. AGE: On the date of occurrence of vacancy:

(i) Minimum 40 years

(ii) Not more than 58 years for internal candidates and not more than

57 years for others.

(iii) The age of superannuation is 60 years.

II. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

The applicant should be a graduate with good academic record from a recognised university. He should possess adequate experience at a senior level of management in a large organisation of repute.

Persons with Technical/MBA qualifications and having experience in management and familiarity with Finance, Marketing/Production in national/international fields will have added advantage.

He should also have experience in Electronic Industry with exposure to large/medium size engineering is desirable.

Minimum qualification is relaxable in the case of internal candidates with sound and adequate background and experience.

B Pay Scale

Age Limit
SS - 18 to 27 years, The upper age limit is relaxable in case of Ex-Serviceman/OBC/ SC/ST as per Government of India rules. The upper age is also relaxable upto 45 years in case of serving
regular employees of ICAR.
LDC - 18 to 27 years Relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC/ST and for OBC category Three Years as per Govt. rules only in respect of vacancies reserved for them.
SSS - 18 to 30 years (After relaxing the age for ST)
