Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubneswar an emerging multidisciplinary Institute engaged in advanced research invites applications from Indian citizens for the following positions:

JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWS: 05 Nos.
Areas:
01. Infectious Diseases Biology; Gene Expression & Cancer; Microbial Bio prospecting; Nano-Biotechnology and Plant Biotechnology.
02. Project: Aberrant T cells and immune response in chronic infectious/diseases.
03. Project: To study the biodiversity of microbes in the deep water corals of Andaman & Nicobar island: Molecular characterization of microbes associated with corals and characterization of important enzymes and genes coding for lipases, proteases and pharmaceutically important molecules.

Essential Qualification: Candidates with Master’s degree or equivalent with 60% aggregate marks in any branch of Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry and chemistry with UGC/CSIR/ICMR-NET/DBT with fellowship or (NET-LS) without fellowship are eligible to apply.

Emoluments: Rs.12,000/- per month plus house rent allowance as per rules.
Upper age limit: 28 years as on 31.12.2009.
