2. JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Director (Production) is a member of the Board of Directors and reports to Chairman and Managing Director. He is overall in charge of the three manufacturing plants of the Corporation viz; Heavy Machine Building Plant, Heavy Machine Tools Plant and Foundry Forge Plant and is responsible for total management of the three plants within the parameters of the Corporation policies.

3. ELIGIBILITY

I. AGE: On the date of occurrence of vacancy.

(i) Minimum 45 years

(ii) Not more than 58 years for internal candidates and

not more than 57 years for others.

The age of superannuation is 60 years.

II. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

The candidate should be a graduate in Engineering or equivalent with good academic record from a recognized university/Institution. He should have adequate experience at a senior level in a large organization of repute. Persons with experience in the area of production and workshop management, preferably in a Heavy Machinery and Equipment manufacturing plant or a Heavy Foundry Forge Plant with have added advantage.

Provided that minimum qualification is relaxable in the case of internal candidates with sound and adequate background and experience.

Last date of receipt of applications in PESB is 18^th December, 2009. No application shall be entertained under any circumstances after the stipulated date. Incomplete applications are liable to be REJECTED.
