Faculty of Unani Medicine -2009

1. Mahir-e-Tib (Doctor of Medicine) - 3 Yrs
2. Mahir-e-Jarahat (Master of Surgery) - 3 yrs
   
   
3. 1. MD/MS—3Yrs
   2. PG Diploma Courses - 2 Yrs
4. Master of Dental Surgery (MDS)- 3 Yrs
5. M. Ch. (Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery)- 3 Yrs

Eligibility: Doctor of Medicine:

1. Candidates of this holding Degree of B. U.M.S. University or its equivalent from a recognized institution included in the II Schedule of IMCC Act, 1970 enrolled in a State / Central Register of ISM with 50% marks shall be eligible for admission subject to fulfillment of other eligibility requirements.
2. Compulsory Rotatory Internship for a period prescribed by the CCIM.
3. Six Months House Job with Five years degree Course for the candidates appearing in Moalejat or at least two years clinical experience of Unani Matab after passing B.U.M.S. or an equivalent examination or two years clinical experience in Unani Matab duly certified by the Tehsildar / Civil Surgeon or from the Superintendent of a recognized Hospital as the case may be.
4. House job will not be required for candidates who have passed 4 & 1/2 years BUMS Degree Course with one year compulsory rotatory internship, appearing for Moalejat

Master of Surgery :

1. Candidates holding Degree of B.U.M.S. of this University or its equivalent with 50% marks obtained in Jarahat at the undergraduate examination from a recognized Institution included in the II - Schedule of IMCC Act, 1970 enrolled in a State / Central Register of I.S.M.
2. Compulsory rotatory internship for a period prescribed by CCIM.
3. ouse job in Surgery (Jarahat) for a period of at least 6 months/two years practical surgical experience in a recognized hospital. The certificate of experience will have to be duly certified by the Superintendent of a recognized hospital or Civil Surgeon.
4. House job will not be required for those candidates who have passed 4 & 1/2 years B.U.M.S. degree Course with one year compulsory rotatory internship, appearing for Jarahat.

PG Degree / Diploma Courses

1. The candidate must have passed the M.B.B.S. examination from this University.
2. The candidate should have obtained full registration i.e., they should have completed satisfactorily one year of compulsory rotatory internship after passing the final M.B.B.S. Examination and should have full registration with Medical Council of India / State Medical Council

M. Ch. (Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery) - 2010:
Medical Graduate holding the Degree of M.S. (General Surgery) from an Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.
MDS Courses:
The candidate must have passed the BDS Examination from this University. They must have completed satisfactorily one year of compulsory Rotatory Internship after passing the BDS Final Examinations and must have full Registration with DCI / State DCI.
