Applications are invited from unmarried Indian Citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer in Technical Branches (Engineering and Electrical) of the Indian Navy for Course commencing July 2010 at NAVAC Ezhimala, Kerala:

Eligibility Conditions:
Age: Between 19 & 1/2 to 25 years (candidates to be born between 02 July 1985 to 01 January 1991; both dates inclusive) for Technical (GS) and Submarine Cadre (Engineering & Electrical), and 21 to 25 years for Naval Architecture Cadre i.e 02 July 1985 to 01 July 1989.

Educational Qualifications: B.E/ B.Tech. (or equivalent) in Electrical / Electronics /Mechanical/ Production / Aeronautical / Marine / Control/ Avionics/ Telecommunications/ Instrumentation from a institution recognised by AICTE with minimum 60% marks

Physical Standards:
Hight and Wieght: Minimum height Male - 157 cms, 152 cms for Female with correlated weight.

Eye Sight: The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision, 6/24, 6/24 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 with glasses. Should not be colour/night blind.

Applications are invited from unmarried Male Indian Citizens for Permanent Commission (PC) Officer in Education Branch of the Indian Navy for Course commencing July-2010 at NAVAC, INS Zamorin Ezhimala, Kerala.

Eligibility Conditions:
Age: Between 21 to 25 years (candidates to be born between 02 July 1985 to 01 July 1989; both dates inclusive)
Educational Qualifications:
(a) BE/B.Tech. with 60% marks in Electronics/ Electricals/ Mechanical/ Telecommunication/ IT/Computer Science and BE/ B.Tech (EEE/ ECE) with minimum 60% marks OR
(b) A Master's Degree in one of the following with minimum 50% marks - Physics (with Maths in B.Sc.), Maths (with Physics in B.Sc.), Chemistry, Computer Application (with Physics or Maths in B.Sc.) Computer Science (with Physics or Maths in B.Sc.) IT, English and History.

Physical Standards:
Height and Weight: Minimum height Male - 157 cms with correlated weight. Eye Sight - The minimum acceptable standard for distant vision 6/60, 6/60 connectable to 6/6, 6/12 with glasses and should not be color/night blind.

Invites applications from unmarried Male candidates for enrolment as Sailors for Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR)-2/2010 Batch (Course Commencing 02 Aug 2010)

Applications are invited from unmarried Male Indian Citizens and male subjects of Nepal and Bhutan.

Educational Qualification: Qualified on in 10+2/ equivalent examination with Maths and Physics and atleast one of these subjects; Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science.
Age: Candidates should have been born between (01 Aug 1989 to 31 July 1993 both dates inclusive)
Pay and Perquisites:

Pay & Allowances:
During the initial training period, stipend of Rs. 5700/- pm will be admissible but on successful completion of initial training and amount equal to the minimum of scale as mentioned below, less stipend already paid, shall be admissible with retrospective effect.
On completion of initial training, they will be placed in the Pay Band of Rs. 5200-20200. In addition they will be paid Grade Pay @ Rs. 2000/- plus MSP @ Rs. 2000/- plus DA.
