Applications are invited for filling up of following posts at IARI, New Delhi and its Regional
Stations under administrative control of Indian Council of Agricultural Research as per details given below :-

A POSTS
1. Security Supervisor (SS) - 8 (Eight)
2. Lower Division Clerk (LDC) – 10 (Ten)
3. Skilled Support Staff (SSS) – 25 (Twenty five)
Under Special Recruitment Drive for ST Category for Backlog vacancies.

B Pay Scale
1. SS - Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2800/- Per month
2. LDC - Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- Per month
3. SSS – Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1800/- Per month
With increment of 3% P.a. on pay in pay band and grade pay associated with post.

D : Qualifications (Essential)
SS - (1) Sr. Secondary certificate or equivalent from any recognized Board of education.
(2) Preference shall be given to Ex-Servicemen and persons having professional qualifications like courses on fire fighting maintenance of fire fighting equipments, maintenance of arms and ammunitions etc from Government recognized institutes.

LDC - Matriculate or equivalent from recognized Board/University Typing Speed in English 30 w.p.m. or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi
Desirable : Knowledge of computer operations

SSS - Matric Pass from recognized board
Desirable: (i) ITI with trade in Fitter, Electrician, Turner, Welder
(ii) Certificate in Library Science, (iii) LMV/HMV Driving Licence issued by prescribed Govt. Authority, (iv) Working experience of Laboratory, Field /Farm and Workshop.


Age Limit
SS - 18 to 27 years, The upper age limit is relaxable in case of Ex-Serviceman/OBC/ SC/ST as per Government of India rules. The upper age is also relaxable upto 45 years in case of serving
regular employees of ICAR.
LDC - 18 to 27 years Relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC/ST and for OBC category Three Years as per Govt. rules only in respect of vacancies reserved for them.
SSS - 18 to 30 years (After relaxing the age for ST)

Last date of receipt of applications is 45 days from the date of appearance of the Advertisement in the Employment News & for applications posted from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands , Lakshadweep, Minicoy and Amindmi, Isands States/ Union Territories in the North Eastern Region, Ladakh Division of J& K state , Sikkim, Pangi , Sub division of Chamba , Lahul and spiti districts of Himachal Pradesh , Last date would be 15 days over and above of the 45 days from the date of advertisement.
