Institute, Coimbatore and Regional / Research Centre at Karnal/Agali

• T-6 (Laboratory Technician): 01 Post
• Pay Band Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.5400 (at SBI-RC, Karnal(Haryana)
• Qualification: M.Sc.(Ag) in Agricultural Chemistry / Soil Science or M.Sc.(Chemistry)
  
• Age: 18 - 35 years
• T-3 [Junior Engineer(Civil)]: 01 Post
• Pay Band Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2800
• Age: 18-30 years
• Qualification: Bachelors degree / Three years diploma in Civil Engineering
  
• Desirable :
• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Two years experience in the respective field.
• T-3 [Junior Engineer(Instruments)]: 01 Post
• Pay Band Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2800
• Qualification: Bachelors degree / Three years diploma in Instrumentation Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
  
• Desirable: Two years experience in maintenance and service of scientific instruments

• Qualification: Matriculate with atleast one year certificate in Agriculture from recognized institution.

• Matriculation pass qualification from a recognized Board;
• Possession of a valid Heavy Transport Vehicle(HTV) driving licence from prescribed Govt. authority (the candidate will have to pass the practical skill test to be taken by an appropriate Committee of the Institute/Hqrs.)
• Desirable :
  
• One year trade certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle(MMV) from ITI; or
  
• Experience of driving in a recognized Institution; or
  
• Experience of motor mechanic work.
• Age: 18-30 years
• Lower Division Clerk: 01 Post
• Pay Band Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1900
• Age: 18-27 years
• Qualification:
  
• Matriculation or its equivalent
  
• Proficiency in typewriting at a minimum speed of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi
• Last Date: 30 days from 07.11.09 (date of publication in employment news) i.e. up to 06.12.09

The crucial date for determining the age limit of candidates will be the closing date for receipt of
application.
Age relaxation: Upper age relaxation 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PH
candidates. For Sl.Nos. 1 to 5 no upper age limit for ICAR employees.

2. Name of the post applied for should invariably be mentioned on the top of the envelope, to be
addressed to the Director, Sugarcane Breeding Institute, Coimbatore-641 007 Tamilnadu.
3. Copies of certificates (attested by a Gazetted Officer) in proof of age, educational qualification, experience, caste status (in the case of SC /ST/OBC certificate issued by the Competent Authority) should be sent alongwith the application.
4. Separate application is required for each post.

6. Application Fee of Rs.50/- (No fee for SC / ST candidates) in the form of Demand Draft /
Pay order in favour of ICAR Unit SBI payable at Coimbatore.
7. No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates in connection with the process of
selection / test /interview / appointment. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.
