The Centre for Bioinformatics of Pondicherry University, fully funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India invites applications for Studentship and Traineeship in various areas of Bioinformatics.
| Duration | Initially for a period of six months, extendable up to one year. | |
| Mode of Selection | Short listed candidates will be called for an interview. | |
| Emoluments | Rs.5,000/- per month | |
| Minimum Qualifications | The candidates must have a Post Graduate Degree in Bioinformatics / Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Physics Sciences / Chemical Sciences / Computer Science or B.Tech Degree in Bioinformatics / Computer Sciences. | |

Interested candidates may send their applications superscribed “Application for the post of Studentship/Traineeship” including a detailed curriculum vitae and names of two references (with e-mail address and fax number) to Dr. P.P. Mathur, Co-ordinator, Centre for Bioinformatics, Pondicherry University, Pondicherry – 605 014 along with proposed project plan on or before 30.11.2009 by post. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
