d) Educational Qualification:
- For 111-TGC: Candidades should have passed the Degree exam. Appearing Students need not to apply
- For 35th Short Service Commission (Technical) Men 6th Short Service Commission (Technical) Women course (Oct-2010) : Candidates studying in the final year/ sem of Tech. Degree exam,(BE/BTech) can also Apply but they will be required to submit proof of passing the Degree by 16 - Aug 2010
Ante DATE Seniority
2 years ante date seniority will be applicable for men and women officers having Engg. from a recognised University/Institution
Conditions Of Eligibility
Nationality:
A candidate must either be
1. a citizen of India or
2. a subject of Nepal or
3. asubject of Bhutan or
4. Tibetian Origin but of Indian Domicile, whose parents Entered India as refugees prior to 1st Jan 1962 with intention of permanently settling in India
5.a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Myamnar,SriLanka and East African countries like Kenya,Uganda,United Republic of Tanzania,Zambia,Malawai,Zaire,Ethopia abd Vietnam with the catogories 2,3,4,5
above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibilit has however , not be necessary in case of candidates who are Gorkhas subject to Nepal
(b) Physical Standard:
Hieght and weight:
The min. acceptable height and weight for men is 157.5 cms with correlated weight and for women candidates is 152 cm and 42 kg. In case of candidates belonging to North to the North East hilly areas likr gorakhas Nepalese, Assamese and Garhwalis the height is relaxed by 5 cms weight commensurate with reduce height. For lakshadweep candidates height is relaxed by 2cms
Visual Strandards:
The min acceptable viual acuity are: Distant vision (corrected) better eye 6/6, worse 6/18
