Applications in prescribed form are invited from Indian Nationals for the post of Deputy Registrar (Academic) in the pay scale of Rs. 15,600‐39,100+ G.P. 7,600.

The posts will be filled by way of Direct Recruitment/on deputation/foreign service from the Government Departments / Reputed Engineering Institutions / Universities / Autonomous Organizations etc. Maximum age limit is 50 years (the maximum age limit for appointment by
deputation and absorption shall not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date
of receipt of applications).

The Application form and Instruction sheet having qualifications & etc. required for the above post can be downloaded from Institute’s website www.nitkkr.ac.in. A bank draft of Rs.200/‐ towards application fee be invariably sent alongwith the downloaded application form (duly filled). The Application Form and instructions Sheet can be had from 10.11.2009 from the
office of Deputy Registrar (GA & Legal) on payment of Rs. 200/‐ by cash or by sending a Crossed Bank Draft of Rs. 250/‐ drawn in favour of Director, NIT, Kurukshetra payable at SBI, NIT, Kurukshetra (Code No.6260) alongwith a Self Addressed envelope (23x10 cm). Requests received for the dispatch of Application forms by post after 02.12.2009 shall not be entertained.

The applications duly filled in all respects should reach the Registrar, NIT, Kurukshetra‐ 136 119 on or before 10.12.2009 by 05:30 p.m. Incomplete applications will not be entertained. It is made clear that the candidates who had applied for the above post against Advt. No. 1/2008 will
have to apply afresh in view of the new UGC qualifications and experience.

Qualifications & Experience for the Post:‐
1. A Master’s degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale.
2. Nine years’ of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 6000/‐ and above with experience in educational administration.
OR
Comparable experience in research establishment and / or other institutions of higher education.
OR
Five years’ of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post.
