To assist in the externally funded projects undertaken by the Institute, engagement of Indian Nationals in the following temporary positions, co-terminus with the expiry of the project, is required to be made through Walk-in-Interview

Place of Interview : CBRI, Roorkee

Age will be reckon on the date of interview which is relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ST candidate, 3 years for OBC candidates and Women / PH as per GoI rules.

General conditions : The position of Project Assistant is for a specific duration for the externally funded project and will be co-terminus with the expiry of the project and will not confer any right, explicitly or implicitly, for regular absorption in the Institute / CSIR or in the sponsoring organization. The award of project assistantship does not imply any assurance or guarantee for subsequent employment by CSIR or at CBRI, Roorkee. No TA will be paid for appearing in the interview. Director, CBRI reserves the right not to fill-up these positions or any one amongst them, if he so decides. The requirement of positions are variable. A candidate who claims to belong to OBC has to submit in support of his / her claim an attested copy of a certificate in the prescribed form issued for the Central Govt. to the effect that he / she does not belong to the persons / sections (Creamy Layer).

Procedure of Selection : The interested candidates may appear for walk-in-interview before the Selection Committee at CBRI, Roorkee on the date and time as mentioned above along with original documents and six copies of bio-data (One copy of bio-data duly affixed with a latest passport size photograph and supported by self-attested photocopies of certificates, mark sheets and other relevant documents) and giving following information on one side of A-4 size paper :

(15) Name of close relative employed in CBRI / CSIR or its National Labs./Instts. giving – Name, designation, Name of Lab./Instt. in which employed and Relationship, (16) Any other additional information, (17) List of enclosures and (18) Signature of Candidate with date.
