MINING DISCIPLINE
For Sl. No. 1 to 4: Graduate in Mining Engineering with possession of I class Mine
Manager Certificate of Competency under Coal Mines Regulations, 1957.
For Sl. No. 5: Graduate in Mining Engineering with possession of II class Mine
Manager Certificate of Competency under Coal Mines Regulations, 1957. Incumbents
joining in this post on selection will be considered for further promotion upto M-1 Grade as per the Career Growth Policy in NLC and their promotion to M-2 Grade will be subject to
passing I Class Mine Manager Certificate under Coal Mines Regulations, 1957
For Sl. No. 2 to 5: Depending upon qualifications, present position including two
years experience in the immediate lower scale as applicable and performance in the
Personal Interview, the candidates selected will be placed suitably in any one of the post.0

METHOD OF SELECTION
For Sl. Nos. 1 to 10 : Selection will be based on performance in the Personal Interview.
For Sl. Nos. 11: Selection will be based on Performance in Written Test and Personal Interview. For Sl. Nos. 12 : Selection will be based on evaluation of Legal Knowledge / Skills / Abilities followed by Personal Interview for Shortlisted Candidates.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
A) Reservation of Post(s) as per Govt. of India Guidelines.
B) Candidates from PSE/Govt./Quasi Govt. should apply through proper channel or
produce NOC at the time of selection.
C) Candidates called for attending the selection will be reimbursed to and fro Air
Fare (for Sl. No. 1), 2-Tier A/C Train fare (for Sl. Nos. 2 to 10 & 12) and II Class Rail / Bus
Fare (only for SC/ST Candidates appearing for the selection to the post against Sl. No. 11)
for their travel from the Present Address to the Selection Venue by the shortest route,
subject to production of proof.
D) Incumbent joining the above posts is required to work in any Unit / Area / Place
situated in India under the control of Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited or in any Joint
Venture / Associate / Subsidiary company of Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited, to which
they may be posted.
E) Candidates are informed that mere submission of applications shall not give them
any right to be called for selection and NLC reserves the right not to fill up the vacancy
notified at its discretion.
F) In case any ambiguity / dispute arises on account of interpretation in Hindi
Version, English version will prevail.

Application Fee of Rs.300/- (Non-refundable) is payable by Demand Draft drawn in
favour of Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited, Neyveli–1 payable at Neyveli. (SC/ST/PWDs
and Ex-Servicemen are exempted).

signed and affixed with passport size color photograph, should be sent to “The Addl. Chief Manager (Pers.), Recruitment Cell, P&A Department, Corporate Office, Block-01, Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited, Neyveli – 607 801 on or before 28-03-2009, enclosing Demand Draft, Photostat copy of certificates in support of possessing notified Qualifying
requirements, Community Certificate and Persons With Disabilities / Ex-Servicemen
Certificate (if applicable). The envelope should be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR
