Q.10
ReplyDeleteOnly P has no cutoff frequency.
Its a coaxial cable with parallel conductors. The other two are waveguides which can support only TE / TM modes. The question is confusing because the coaxial cable's cutoff frequency is theoretically 0 Hz. Hence practically only the two waveguides have cutoff freqs.
Q . 21
ReplyDeleteAnswer is 1 / 6
Use Baye's rule to find the conditional probability.
The sample space for event X - Y = 0 --> {(0,0),(1,1),(2,2)}
and the sample space for event X + Y = 0 -->{(0,2),(1,1),(2,0)}
Q . 35
ReplyDeleteAnswer (B).
Convert the circuit to AC model.
By shorting the capacitor and DC sources.
Calculate base current ib = vi / hie
Collector current ice = beta * ib
THe output voltage = output resistor 3 Kohm x ic x -1
-1 because the collector current flows from the ground into the transistor.
