Section I. DI / DS / LR
This section had 38 questions of which Section I A had 26 questions with 1 mark per question while Section I B had 12 questions with 2 marks per question.
In Data Interpretation of the 20 questions, 16 were of easy to medium level of difficulty while 4 were difficult.
In Data Sufficiency of the 6 questions, 4 were of easy to medium level of difficulty while 2 were difficult.
In Logical reasoning of the 12 questions, 8 were of easy to medium level of difficulty while 4 were difficult.
Students had the opportunity to attempt 28 questions of easy to medium level of difficulty in the allotted time. In all an attempt of 20 questions (16 - I A & 4 - I B) with an accuracy of 85% was sufficient to clear the cut-offs assuming 25% negative marking.

Cut-offs
For calls from all the IIMs the expected sectional cut-offs would be
DI/DS/LR | Problem Solving | VA/RC | Net Score | |
Cut-offs | 19 - 21 | 19 - 21 | 23 - 25 | 65+ |
Overall cut-offs for a call from some of the institutes that follow the IIMs in the pecking order like:
- NITIE, SP Jain, MDI Gurgaon, MICA, would be 55+
- TAPMI, Nirma, IMT, KJ Somaiya would be 45+
