Simran’s TV debut Simran Thirai, produced by SaiMira and telecast in Jaya TV, will feature Simran in fourteen different roles for the short story titled Navavalli. Navavalli is based on Hindu mythology and Simran plays Amman who is incarnated in many roles. Simran’s roles include, among many others, a florist, snake charmer, astrologer, old woman, auto driver, servant maid, nurse, and a disciple girl. The sitcom is directed by Arvindraj. Poovilangu Mohan, O A K Sundar, Anuradha Krishnamoorthy, and Subbulakshmi also play significant roles.
