Planning Commission
The Programme Evaluation Organization (PEO), Planning Commission requires the services of 4 Young Professionals with the following qualifications and job description:
Job Requirement:
- Formulation of the study design including Sampling.
- Field surveys and data collection.
- Data entry, data processing, data analysis and report writing.
- Creating database for development evaluation by review of existing material, preparation of gist of the evaluation studies conducted.
- Preparing reports, reviews, notes and briefs etc.
- Provide assistance to Senior Officials as required.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Candidates holding Master’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics and Social Sciences from a recognized University/Institute. M. Phil/Ph.D. or additional qualifications, research experience, published papers and post qualification experience in the relevant field would be preferred.
- Retired Government employees with (i) Grade pay of Rs. 6600 and above & (ii) at least 5 years experience in the required domain field would also be eligible for this position.
- Knowledge of computer applications, SPSS, MS Office including Excel, Access etc.
Desirable:
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Capable of data analysis and with ability to generate a well researched and written report
- Experience in collection, compilation and analysis of data.
- Preference to candidates with 2– 3 years experience will be given.
