Admission Notification : 2009-2010

Applications in the prescribed form are invited from eligible women candidates for admission into the following courses for the academic year 2009-10. The application form can be obtained on requisition by post from the Director, Directorate of Admissions, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, on payment of Rs.350/- through Demand Draft only from any nationalized bank drawn in favour of the Registrar, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati. The applications can also be obtained in person on production of a Demand Draft for Rs.300/- from 21.4.2009 onwards. Bank Challans, Cheques, money orders or cash will not be accepted. The candidate should submit separate application for each course. The filled-in application form along with all the enclosures, shall be submitted to the Director, Directorate of Admissions, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam College, Tirupati – 517 502, by indicating on the top of the envelope the name of the course applying for. The last date for issuing as well as receiving the applications is 15.6.2009.

M.Sc. in: Applied Bio Sciences, Applied Mathematics, Bio Informatics, Bio Technology (5 Year Integrated course), Botany, Electronics, Food & Nutrition Sciences (i). Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics (ii). Community Health & Nutrition, (iii). Food Science and Quality Control, Human Development & Family Studies, Seri biotechnology, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Zoology.

M.A. in: English Language & Literature, Telugu Language, Literature & Translation, Hindi, Management of Continuing Education & Development, Music (Veena & Vocal), Bharathanatyam, Women’s Studies, Applied Sociology, Applied Economics, Rural Development Management, MSW (Social Work). M.C.J.(Communication & Journalism), MBA in Media Management, MS in Visual Communications, M.Ed.General, Special Education (Hearing impaired).

UNDER GRADUATE COURSES: B.Ed. (Special-Hearing impaired), B.L.I.Sc.
PG DIPLOMA COURSES in: Retail Management, Facility Management,
FINISHING SCHOOL: P.G. Diploma in Graphics and Web Design, Graphics and Visual Effects, Graphics and Animation (Evening Courses in collaboration with Image Infotainment Co.).

SPMVVCET – 2009.

Admissions for M.Sc., (1) Applied Microbiology (2) Biochemistry & (3) Biotechnology Courses will be done through Entrance Test. There is no need to apply separately for each course. Eligibility: B.Sc., Degree with 50% of marks on aggregate or who are awaiting final year results with Chemistry, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Genetics, Medical Lab Technology, Applied Nutrition, Bioinformatics and Computer Applications.

Application form SPMVVCET - 14th May, 2009.
Date of Entrance Test - 17th May, 2009. Time: 11.30 – 01.00 PM.
(Hall tickets can be obtained from 9 a.m. on wards at the University Examination Hall on the same day).

NOTE:
1. Admission into M.Pharmacy, M.C.A., M.B.A., LL.M., B.Tech, B.Ed., LL.B., B.Pharmacy and B.P.Ed. Courses offered by the University are governed by the rules of respective State-Wide Common Entrance Tests. The admissions are also centralized and will be made by the respective CET Conveners. Candidates need not apply to the University for these courses.
2. Admission into other courses is based upon merit following the rules of reservation and other rules governing Admission.
3. Details of regular & payment seats are given in the prospectus
4. The University is not responsible for any delay in receipt or loss of applications in postal transit.
