Filling up of posts in Department of Information Technology on deputation basis – reg.
It is proposed to fill up the following posts in Department of Information Technology on deputation basis initially for a period of one year, extendable upto three years. The eligibility conditions, experience etc. for the posts are given in the Annexure-I.

2. The period of deputation shall be one year in the first instance extendable upto three years, if so required. The period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or other organization/department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years. The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation (including short term contract) shall not be exceeding 56 years as on closing date of receipt of applications. The person selected will be entitled to draw pay in accordance with Department of Personnel & Trg. O.M. No.2/29/94-Estt. (Pay.II) dated 05.01.2004, as amended from time to time.
3. It is requested that the particulars in the prescribed proforma (Annexure II) of eligible and willing persons who can be spared immediately may be sent to this Department along with their up-to-date Confidential Report Dossiers and Vigilance Clearance/Disciplinary Clearance within 45 days from the date of issue of this circular publication in the “Employment News”.
4. Applications received after the due date and without CR dossiers and Vigilance Clearance/Disciplinary Clearance will not be entertained under any circumstances. The official once selected shall not be allowed to withdraw his/her candidature at a later date.

ANNEXURE-I
(1) Section Officer (Fire)
01. Post : Section Officer (Fire) [Group ‘B’ –Gazetted]
02. Number of Posts : 01 (One)
03. Pay Scale : Rs. 6500-200-10500/- (pre-revised)
04. Classification: General Central Services Group ‘B’ Gazetted-Ministerial
04. Job Description : 1) Proper maintenance of fire-suppression equipment/ installation, fire alarm, fire detectors, fire safety devices and fire fighting equipments.
2) Preparation and enforcement of emergency fire orders.
3) Training of occupants of the building in safety measures in case of emergency including use of fire fighting equipment.
4) Maintaining proper liaison with the City Fire Brigade.
5) Providing assistance in maintenance of lifts.
6) To work in close coordination with Security Officer and to undertake such other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Eligibility : Officers of the Ministries/Departments of Central or State Governments/Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Undertakings:
A. Essential
(a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) with three years service in the grade rendered after appointment there to on regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs. 5500-9000 (pre-revised) or equivalent; and
(b) (i) having experience of work relating to general administration; such as maintenance and upkeep of building, fire, safety, security etc; and
(ii) having undergone training in Fire Fighting skills from Delhi Fire Service or equivalent.
B. Desirable:
(i) Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent;
(ii) Station Officer’s course or Sub Officers course of National Fire Service, Nagpur ; or basic course in Elementary Fire Fighting conducted by Ministry of Defence.
For Ex-Serviceman: Deputation/re-employment:
The Armed Forces personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having the requisite experience and qualifications prescribed above shall also be considered. Such persons shall be given deputation terms up to the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces, thereafter they may be considered for re-employment.
(2) Assistant

04. Eligibility : Officers of the Ministries/Departments of or State Governments/Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Undertakings:

ii) UDC in the scale of pay of Rs. 4000-6000 (pre-revised) with six years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto
(3) Senior Hindi Translator
01. Post : Senior Hindi Translator (Group ‘B’ – Non Gazetted)

03. Pay Scale Rs. 6500-200-10500/- (Pre-revised)
04. Eligibility : Officers of the Ministries/Departments of or State Governments/Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Undertakings:
i. holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department
ii. Junior Hindi Translators in the scale of pay of Rs. 5500-9000 (pre- revised) with three years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
iii. Officials working in a scale of pay not lower than Rs. 5000-8000 (pre- revised) (under the Central DA pattern) or equivalent and possessing Masters Degree from a recognized University in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a subject at the degree level; or Masters’ Degree from a recognized University in any subject with Hindi as the medium of instruction and examination with English as a compulsory subject at degree level and having six years experience of translation from Hindi to English and English to Hindi.
Desirable: Experience of three years in translating technical or scientific literature from Hindi to English or vice versa.
(4) Security Supervisor
01. Post : Security Supervisor (Group ‘B’ – Non Gazetted)

04. Eligibility : Officers of the Ministries/Departments of or State Governments/Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Undertakings:

(ii) holding post in the pay scale of Rs. 4000-6000/- (pre- revised) for a period of five years on regular basis; and
(iii) three years experience of supervising security and fire fighting work.
For Ex-servicemen : Deputation/Re-employment:
The Armed Forces personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having the requisite experience and qualifications prescribed above shall also be considered. Such persons shall be given deputation terms up to the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces, thereafter they may be considered on re-employment.

(ii) with five years regular service in the pay scale of Rs. 5000-8000 (pre revised)
B. Essential: (i) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University;
(ii) Degree in Library Science from a recognized University.
(iii) Experience in any recognized library.
Note: 1 - Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Central Government in the case of candidate other wise well qualified.
Note 2 - The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the Central Government in the case of candidates belonging to SC or ST if at any stage of selection Central Government is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancy.
