Textiles Committee-Technical Field Officer Jobs Dec2009

the Textiles Committee,  a Statutory Body under the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, invites applications for the post of Technical Field Officer on contract basis for a period of one year duration on consolidated remuneration of Rs.10000/-, per month.  However, depending upon the requirement the duration may be extended further for an approved period. 

 

Total number of Technical Field Officer :  10

 2-Mumbai, 2-Ahmedabad, 1-Nagpur, 1-Hyderabad, 1-Chennai, 1-Ludhiana, 1-Indore and  1- Varanasi ..

 

Essential Qualification :  Diploma or Degree in Textile Technology or Any Textile Discipline.

 

Desirable Experience :  1 to 2 years experience in relevant field.  Retired employees of the Textile Committee having the essential qualification may also apply.

 

Other Conditions :

 

1. No allowance/compensations are applicable other than the consolidated amount of Rs.10,000/- per month on a six-day-per week working  basis.  During the contract period, no earned leave or medical leave is permitted.  Only 8 days casual leave and 2 days restricted holidays are admissible.
   
2. The Committee reserve the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview on the basis of qualification and experience.
   
3. Selection will be done by interview which will be intimated to the candidates.  The posting shall  primarily be in the places mentioned above.  However the selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere in India , as per the requirement.
   
4. The offer is purely on temporary basis and for the period of one year.  No rights shall be conferred on the selected persons for appointment on regular basis or for continuation beyond one year.
   

 

Application on the plain paper giving bio-data including name, address, telephone no/fax/e-mail, date of birth, qualification, experience, languages known etc. accompanied by attested copies of certificates/testimonials and recent passport size photograph indicating preferred place of posting, should be forwarded to the region where he/she intends to appear for the  interview, addresses of which is given below, to reach on or before 22^nd December, 2009.  The cover page should be superscribed  as “Application for the post of Technical Field Officer”
