 (NESA UGRAD) Scholarship Program competition

The U.S. Consulate General Hyderabad announces the opening of the 2010-2011 Near East and South Asia Undergraduate (NESA UGRAD) Scholarship Program competition. Outstanding students from India will be selected to spend one-year of non-degree undergraduate study at a diverse network of accredited two- and four-year institutions in the United States. The aim of the NESA UGRAD program is to introduce youth in the Near East and South Asia region to American cultural and society.

Students will participate in U.S. study courses, academic skills training and courses in their fields of study. Participants will also take part in community service as well as an unpaid internship. Candidates will be considered without respect to race, color, religion, national origin, or gender. Persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply. Competition for the NESA UGRAD Program is merit-based. Applications must reach the U.S. Consulate General by close of business on January 22, 2010.
