Now, ball is in Tabu's court

Freed from the shackles of Dasavataram making, its director KS Ravi Kumar is now tied to his previously deserted project – Jaggu Bhai, starring Sarath Kumar and Shriya. As per the script, it requires a glamorous motherly character. Earlier, actress Tabu was approached for the role, but things didn't work out. After a long gap, the actress was approached again. Tabu is said to have quoted a hefty fee of Rs. 75 lakh. Efforts of the director to prompt heroine Shriya to play dual roles (as daughter and mother) have failed. Things might materialize based on the pay factor. Four years ago, Rajnikanth was the original choice to play Jaggu Bhai. The preliminary publicity stills and advertisements appeared in several national and vernacular newspapers – showing Rajni in the getup resembling Osama Bin Laden
