Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is going to conduct Indian Forest Service Examination 2010 for recruitment to the Indian Forest Service Officers commencing from July 10, 2010.

IFS Eligibility Qualification:

UPSC - Civil Service Examination, 2010

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2010 on 23rd May, 2010 for recruitment of the various posts of Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and certain other Group 'A' and Group 'B' Central Services / Posts

Eligibility:

Age: Not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 01/08/2010. The upper age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.
Educational Qualification: Degree of a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.
Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.
Number of Attempts: The maximum number of attempts permissible to different categories of aspirants, who are otherwise eligible will be as follows:
General Category: Four
Physical Handicapped: Seven

UPSC NDA- Naval Academy Examination 2010

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the NDA and Naval Academy Examination, 18th April 2010 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wing of the NDA for the 125th Course and Naval Academy for the 45th 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course commencing from December 30 th 2010. Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible.

UPSC notifies National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (II), 2009

Educational Qualifications:
(i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy:12th Class pass of 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for 10+2 Course of Naval Academy 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics, conducted by a State Education Board or a University.Candidates who are appearing in 12th Class under 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this Examination.

Eligibility:
Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1991 and not later than 1st July, 1993 are eligible.

Physical Standards :
Candidates must be physically fit according to the physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2009 as given in Appendix-V of Commission’s Notice for Examination published in Employment news/Rozgar Samachar dated 18th October, 2008.

Application Procedure:

The Candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices against cash payment of Rs.20/- . Each such Form can be used only once and only for one examination.
