          Application form and the detailed information viz. qualification, experience, age limit etc can be obtained from the Committee Branch, Kairon Block, PGIMER, Chandigarh personally or on written request accompanied by a self addressed stamped (Rs. 10/-) envelope (27x12 cm) along with Demand Draft worth Rs. 525/- (Rs. 275/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of the Director, PGIMER, Chandigarh payable at State Bank of India, Sector-12 (Code No. 1524) as non refundable fee.

 

         A demand draft for Rs.500/-(Rs. 250/- for SC/ST candidates) should be attached with the application downloaded from our website towards non-refundable application fee.

 

         The number of post may vary with proportionate change in the reserved category.

 

         Incomplete applications and the applications received after the due date i.e. after 31.12.2009  will be summarily rejected.

Qualification and Experience

 

Associate Professor

 

Essential Qualifications:

 

a) A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 ( persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.)

b) The candidate must be registered with the state/Central Medical Council.

c)  D.M.Medical Oncology 

Clinical & Teaching Experience 

4 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying two years degree of DM.

                                                                                    OR

3 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying three years degree of DM. 

 

Assistant Professor

 

Essential Qualifications:

One years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying two years degree of DM.

 

In case of three years DM degree in the subject of speciality, no such experience is required. 

 

The   application  forms  obtained  from  the Committee Branch either personally or on written request accompanied by a self addressed stamped (Rs.10/-) envelop (27 cm x 12 cm) along with  payment  of  Rs. 525/- by  Demand  Draft  in  favour  of  Director, PGIMER,   Chandigarh, payable at SBI Branch, Sector 12 (Code No.1524), as non refundable fee and cost of application form etc.

 

A Demand Draft of Rs. 500/-  should be attached with application down loaded from our website, towards non refundable application fee.

ESSENTIAL QULIFICATION (s)

 

a)     Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University.

 

b)     Certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized Institute or equivalent qualifications for male nurse.

 

c)     Should be registered ‘A’ Grade Nurse and Midwife with State Nursing Council equivalent qualification for male nurse.

 

AGE LIMIT :                           

18-30   years  (Age  relaxation will be given to SC upto 35 years and OBC 33 years and to Govt. Servants/departmental candidates as per rules)

 

Note : In case the number of candidates is large, a screening test may be conducted.
