Eligibility: Teachers serving in recognized Schools with a minimum of two years of teaching experience are eligible for admission to the programme. UG or PG in any one of the subjects: Tamil, English, History, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology & Computer Science. P.G. in Economics & Commerce both U.G. and P.G. must be in the same subject.

Spot Admissions will be held on 10-12-2009 to fill a few vacant seats available in B.Ed (Distance Education) in Physical Science, Biological Science, Mathematics and Social Studies methodologies. the seats are available at 1)Osmania College of education, kurnool and 2) A.M Lingana College of education, Parigi (Hindupur) Study Centres only. Teachers including (Vidya Volunteers) with a Bachelors Degree serving in a reognised Primary/Elementry/Secondary/Higher Secondary levels having atleast 2 years experience of school teaching by 3oth June 2009 are eligible to apply for the course. MODE FOR APPLYING
MODE A - IN PERSON AT CHENNAI
For candidates who apply through applications obtained in any one of the modes A the details of additional amount to be paid along with the filled Application Form are as follows:
i. No DD to be enclosed if applying for any one programme of MBA/MCA/MSc
ii. DD amount: Rs.600/- to be enclosed, if applying for any two programmes of MBA / MCA / MSc
iii. DD amount: Rs.1200/- to be enclosed, if applying for all the three programmes of MBA, MCA & MSc.
DEMAND DRAFTS
All Demand Drafts should be drawn in favour of “The Director, Centre for Distance Education, Anna University Chennai” payable at Chennai and be obtained from any Nationalized Bank on or after the specified date in the advertisement.
NOTE
- The present list of study centres is available at our web site. Study Centres will operate in selected cities where there are sufficient number of candidates.
- Candidates should send only one application irrespective of the number of programmes for which he/she would like to take up Entrance Tests.
- Candidates will be required to produce copy of the relevant provisional / degree certificate at the time of admission, along with other documents.
- Item No. 18 need not be filled. The list of study centres shall be known at the time of admission.

Application forms can also be obtained by post by sending a Demand draft for Rs.700/- drawn in favour of “The Director, Centre for Distance Education, Anna University Chennai” payable at Chennai and be obtained from any Nationalized Bank on or after the specified date in the advertisement. Please write your Name, Communication Address and Mobile Number behind the Demand Draft. The filled in application form should be sent to “The Director, Centre for Distance Education, Anna University Chennai, Chennai – 600 025” so as to reach on or before the specified date in the advertisement.
