Applications are invited online from eligible candidates for the following positions on contract basis to work for NREGS-Horticulture convergence.

Horticulture Officer (Place of posting – - Mandals within the zone) -47 posts
Qualification:
Must possess a degree in Horticulture of a recognized university or institution recognized by the university grants commission, provided that M.Sc (Agriculture) with specialization in Horticulture would be considered for appointment if candidates having a degree in Horticulture are not available.
Provided that in case of SC/ST vacancies if the candidates with B.Sc degree qualification in Horticulture are not available the candidates with B.Sc degree qualification in Agriculture shall become eligible.
Preference will be given for candidates having Computer knowledge.

 age limit: Upto 39 years

(5 years relaxation in case of SC/ST/BC/ Persons with disability)

Remuneration Per Month (Rs.)-  13,000

Asst. Programme Officer (APO) (Place of posting – Mandals within the zone) -44 posts

Qualification:

Must possess a degree in Horticulture of a recognized university or institution recognized by the university grants commission, provided that M.Sc (Agriculture) with specialization in Horticulture would be considered for appointment if candidates having a degree in Horticulture are not available.

 Data Entry Operator(Place of posting – Mandal / Directorate, Hyderabad): 91 posts

Qualification:

Degree and PGDCA / DCA of a recognized university

Age limit : not more than 40 years

Remuneration Per Month (Rs.)-5,500

Mode of selection                        
1.Rule of Reservation will be followed.
2. Selection will be made on Zone wise merit for posts at Sl.No. 1 & 2 and District wise merit for posts at Sl.No. 3 & 4
3. Short listed candidates by way of merit (in 1:3 ratio) for Data Entry Operators will be examined for Computer skills at APARD, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad.  Final selection will be based on Computer knowledge.
Tenure 
The selected candidates will be taken on  One year contract.  They have to give a written Bond that they will not leave the organization during the period of contract.  They can however, be removed on grounds of misconduct anytime during the contract period.  During the period of contract, their education certificates will be retained by the Horticulture Department.
Appointment 
Contract appointment orders will be issued from CDS-APARD.

1)  Name of the Position	Engineering Consultant
2)  Job Chart	ECs would be the check-measurement authorities on the measurements taken by the TAs. They shall guide the TAs and FAs on quality of the works and the durability of the assets created under the programme. ECs are expected to bring fresh blood in to the department and are expected to maintain strict standards of integrity. This stint in rural engineering is expected to boost their career prospects in suitable private sector.
3)  Qualification	BE/B.Tech (Civil) Bachelor degree in Agricultural engineering Bachelor degree in Agriculture or horticulture Only students who passed out from engineering or agricultural colleges in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 are eligible. Zonal system (as in PR department) shall be followed. All Statutory reservations have to be followed.
4)  Tenure	The ECs shall be taken on a two-year non extendable contract as a stop-gap arrangement till the permanent department is established for rural development. All candidates identified under this system have to give a written Bond that they will not leave during the period of contract. They can however, be removed on grounds of misconduct anytime during the contract period. During the period of contract, their education certificates should be retained with the organization. After completion of the 2 year period, they will be relieved irrespective of their performance and if need be chance will be given for the new students.
5)  Remuneration	Each EC shall be entitled for a monthly remuneration of Rs. 12,000 per month (fixed) and Rs. 2,000 as travel allowance..
6)  Appointment	Contract appointment orders will be issued from SRDS.
